If you are a first-time reader, welcome to Lora and Erics RV Adventure Blog. You can read about us at http://www.LoraandEricsRVAdventure.com. We started in December 2017 with a goal to complete 49 states before heading home to North Carolina.
Due to limited access to internet service and Verizon hotspot in Canada and Alaska we will be adding photos as we can. In the mean time we will continue to provide our RV adventure at each phase of our RV adventure in text.
Gordon Howe Park is one of the best city owned campgrounds we have visited. The sites are large and private.
Our goal is to enter back into the United States. We will enter through Weyburn No. 67 US Customs Border Station.
We drive 409 miles from Saskatoon, SK to Minot, ND. For the first time we our camper is inspected by US Border Patrol. We remain in the truck as the agent checks inside the camper and truck bed. The Weyburn No. 67 border crossing is a hi-tech security crossing. We enter into a fenced area and pass by some hi-tech scanners. The main crossing is more east, so this facility does not see much people. The border agent asks more questions than anyone else we seen when crossing. After about 20 minutes he allows us to pass.
We finally stop in Minot, North Dakota. The travel time from Gordon Howe Campground in Saskatoon, SK, CA to Roughrider Campground in Minot, ND is 6h 37m (647 km (402 mi)). Pulling the camper our travel time was 7h 19m.

Roughrider Campground is a nice campground with residents and travelers. We decide to stay 2 days to rest and do laundry. The restrooms are very clean. The shower costs a fee. We order a bundle of wood to make a fire.
I inspect the tires and see one of our original tires is worn on the inside. I call Good Sam’s for road side assistance. After about an hour a tow truck comes to the campground and helps me lower the tire from under the camper and install the tire. I would have done it myself, but I never lowered a tire, thus was unaware there is a crank on the side.
The driver recommends Tires Plus in Minot to stop by and order a new tire.
We do laundry the next day and relax. We have been driving each day since leaving Salcha, Alaska on Sep 9th. The internet is strong, so I can make updates to our blog.
