If you are a first-time reader, welcome to Lora and Erics RV Adventure Blog. You can read about us at http://www.LoraandEricsRVAdventure.com. We started in December 2017 with a goal to complete 49 states before heading home to North Carolina.
Due to limited access to internet service and Verizon hotspot in Canada and Alaska we will be adding photos as we can. In the mean time we will continue to provide our RV adventure at each phase of our RV adventure in text.
Our mission is to make it home. We pass attractions, cities, and parks we would like to visit if we had the time. The attitude of traveling is different. A sense of failure on my part for not being to accomplish what we set out to do. A sense of regret our children can do us wrong like they did. We provided a lease and they used the lease to falsely show proof of residence for the kids to remain in school, then tell us they are leaving.
We begin to get closer to friend we want to see along the way. We wanted to visit Aunt Toots in South Dakota, but she never called back or responded to texts. To keep to our schedule, we move on. We do the same for friends in Columbus, Indiana.
We drive almost 7 hours to Waterloo, Iowa. The travel time from Tipsinah Mounds Park Campground in Elbow Lake, MN to Waterloo/Lost Island Waterpark KOA Resort is is 5h 50m (382 mi). Pulling the camper our travel time was 6h 57m along with the stops.

It is normal to see the campgrounds nearly empty. The exception are campgrounds with permanent campers. There is a large water park across from the KOA. The campground has a small lake and set on the side of a hill.
We stay hooked up to the truck to minimize the packing in the morning.
