The Alaska Dream, what were we thinking?

In July of 2018, Lora and I rolled our RV across the Canadian Rockies on our way to Alaska.  Our goal was to visit a friend and former boss of Lora when she worked at the Church of Good Shepherd in Rocky Mount, NC.

Our RV Adventure Blog Posts documents our journey in 2018 across Alaska.

After a winter of downsizing most of our contents in our home through Facebook Marketplace we placed our home on the market.  Our goal was to be back on the road at the end of March heading back to Alaska and our new adventure.

We researched builders and contractors for our new homestead.  After considerable research we locked into a home by Granby Homes in Grand Forks, British Columbia (http://www.postbeam.com/)

We set off on schedule with myself driving a U-haul truck and car trailer to haul our Traverse.  Lora, for the first time, captained the Dodge RAM 3500 with our 38' Grand Design Reflection Travel Trailer in tow.  The plan was to drive short distances over 21 days.  Lora was doing so well, we made it to Alaska in 15 days.

And then the New Adventure Began...
