If you are a first-time reader, welcome to Lora and Erics RV Adventure Blog. You can read about us at http://www.LoraandEricsRVAdventure.com. We started in December 2017 with a goal to complete 49 states before heading home to North Carolina.
Due to limited access to internet service and Verizon hotspot in Canada and Alaska we will be adding photos as we can. In the mean time we will continue to provide our RV adventure at each phase of our RV adventure in text.
No snow this morning. I guess we are too east of the system. We quickly unhook the power cord and drain our tanks.
We stop in Spruce Grove for some breakfast items at Safeway. We stop for fuel in Lloydminster, AB, CA.
The part of Alberta and Saskatchewan we are driving through is very flat. The towns and cities are far apart with many farms in-between.
We finally stop in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The travel time from Diamond Grove RV Campground in Spruce Grove, AB, CA to Gordon Howe Park in Saskatoon, SK, CA is 5h 33m via Highway 16 (557 km (346 mi)). Pulling the camper our travel time was 6h 33m along with the stops.

Gordon Howe Park is names after Gordon Howe. Gordon Howe Campground is a mature campground with 135 serviced sites, located at 1640 Avenue P South. The park is owned by the city and operated by relatives of Gordon Howe.
Gordon Howe was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. From 1946 to 1980, he played twenty-six seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) and six seasons in the World Hockey Association (WHA); his first 25 seasons were spent with the Detroit Red Wings. Nicknamed "Mr. Hockey", Howe is often considered the most complete player to ever play the game and one of the greatest of all time. (Wikipedia)
Lora spends time talking to Gordon Howes relative in the office. He later comes over to introduce himself to me and check out the camper. We let him know were are surprised to see no place offers province stickers like we have for Yukon and British Columbia. He offers to check around and hopes to find one in the morning to give to us. We call it a night.
