If you are a first-time reader, welcome to Lora and Erics RV Adventure Blog. You can read about us at http://www.LoraandEricsRVAdventure.com. We started in December 2017 with a goal to complete 49 states before heading home to North Carolina.
Due to limited access to internet service and Verizon Hotspot in Canada and Alaska we will be adding photos as we can. In the mean time we will continue to provide our RV adventure at each phase of our RV adventure in text.
The snow that was expected never came. Disappointed as we are we know it time to move on to our next destination. The drives have been long, my drive is frustration of loosing our dream of 49 states over selfishness of entitled children wanting everything for free.
We leave Triple G with the goal of reaching Dawson Creek. The travel time from Triple G Hideaway RV Park and Campground in Fort Nelson, BC, CA to Northern Lights RV Park in Dawson Creek, BC, CA is 4 h 54 min 454 Kilometers (282 miles) via BC-97.

A mile of so outside of town we see Martel on the side of the road. He slept in his tent a few hundred feet off the highway. He said it was very cold. He was not prepared for temperatures we are experiencing. We catch up on our evenings and how wonderful the day was yesterday.
The Northern Rockies have fresh snow in the higher elevation. We are getting spots of snow fall as we drive. At one point we wondered if we will need to stop early.
The decent from the Northern Rockies become uneventful. We leave the snow, fall colors, for flat lands with industrial natural gas and oil fields.
We explain the significance of the ALCAN to Malta. We stop at Mile Post 0 of the ALCAN for a photo with all of us.
We drop Maltel off at the entrance of the campground. We say goodbye once again and watch as he starts his walk down the highway towards Vancouver.
