If you are a first-time reader, welcome to Lora and Erics RV Adventure Blog. You can read about us at http://www.LoraandEricsRVAdventure.com. We started in December 2017 with a goal to complete 49 states before heading home to North Carolina.
Due to limited access to internet service and Verizon hotspot in Canada and Alaska we will be adding photos as we can. In the mean time we will continue to provide our RV adventure at each phase of our RV adventure in text.
In our short stay in Dawson Creek I was able to get our oil and fuel filters changed at Jiffy Lube and shop at Walmart. Today we are driving into Alberta. Our goal is to get as close as we can to Edmonton, Alberta.
The weather is cold. We start off about 8:30am and head east. We topped off the tank the day earlier, so we are good of fuel.
About 30 minutes into our drive we start to experience spot of heavy snow. In some spots the snow is accumulating on the road. We cross into Alberta. The roads are all in good shape. The landscape is mostly open plains and farm land.
We finally stop in Spruce Grove, Alberta. The travel time from Northern Lights RV Park in Dawson Creek, BC, CA & Cabins to Diamond Grove RV Campground in Spruce Grove, AB, CA is 5h 43m via Highway 43 (564 km (350 mi)). Pulling the camper our travel time was 6h 11m.

Diamond Grove RV Campground is a new campground. The sites are open and large. The restrooms are very clean. They advertise a spa tub at an extra expense, but we never were able to find it.
The weather forecast is expecting snow this evening. If will stay an extra day if the snow is on the ground when we get up.
We order pizza delivery from a local restaurant. The pizza is nasty and can’t finish the whole pizza.
We call it a night and look forward to accumulated snow tomorrow.
